The top two teams from each of the 12 groups automatically qualify for the Round of 32 โ that's 24 teams confirmed through group winners and runners-up.
The eight best third-placed teams (from the 12 groups) also advance to the knockout stage, completing the 32-team bracket.
If teams are level on points, ranking is determined by goal difference, then goals scored, then head-to-head results, and finally fair play points.
